Best Self-Tanners: Department Store & Drugstore Posted on July 3rd
I’m not a fan of new beauty products, I’d much rather keep in my beauty bag a staple of the best, tried-but-true products that stand the test of time. So I was pleased to see two of my favorite self-tanners named in Allure Magazines “Clear Winners” contest.
The readers chose Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel (about $26) as their favorite department store tanner and Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (about $6) as their drugstore fave.
Clarins is my self-tanner staple. I love it because it gives my skin a natural glow (no orange here). I tried Jergens when it came out a few years ago and was surprised when it did what it said it would do (provide a gradual tan over the course of a few days).
