Drivers in Diamonds for the Monaco Grand Prix Posted on May 24th
Women at the Cannes Film Festival aren’t the only celebrities wearing diamonds this month. Twenty-three year old Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton will slip on this diamond encrusted helmet for the Monaco Grand Prix, 77 laps around Monte Carlo’s winding streets. The helmet is courtesy of Steinmetz, a sponsor of the McLaren Mercedes team. Teammate Heikki Kovalainen will wear his own specially designed red helmet during the race. Both driver’s signatures are reproduced in diamonds on their helmets.
